Meet Beetle – the little pug with the big personality! 🐾
Beetle is an 18-month-old! He has a precious face, an adorable underbite, and the perfect cinnamon-roll tail. His absolute favorite thing in the world? ATTENTION!!!
This sweet boy will happily stand up and stare lovingly into your eyes just to remind you how much he adores you. Beetle thrives on affection and would be thrilled to have someone who loves cuddles as much as he does. One of his favorite ways to relax is being held like a baby while snuggling on the couch.
But don’t let the cuddle bug fool you — Beetle is also playful, curious, and full of energy. He loves toys, exploring outside, and playing with other dogs. He’s surprisingly agile and quite the jumper, so he will need supervision outside even with a fenced yard. He also enjoys going for walks and does great on a leash.
Beetle is crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate at night. He actually prefers his own sleeping space rather than a human bed. He is mostly potty trained and doing great, but will need continued consistency and routine. Since being neutered in February, accidents have greatly improved. For now, he wears a belly band in the house and is perfectly comfortable with it.
This little guy is also very tolerant when it comes to baths, grooming, and nail trims.
Beetle would do best in a home that can provide time, structure, and supervision, as he’s still a young pug learning his manners. He shouldn’t have full run of the house unsupervised yet, as he has discovered he can jump onto chairs and counters. He knows some commands like sit, wait, and shake, and he responds well to his name.
He gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as an only child soaking up all the attention. We are unsure how he does with cats or children.
Beetle is a sweet, affectionate, and entertaining little guy who will bring a lot of love and personality to his future home.
