Honey is a very sweet, shy and loyal girl. She is timid and would do best in a calm, patient home where she can continue to learn to trust humans. She enjoys having a dog sibling to learn from and play with and would prefer a home without kids. She is very food and treat motivated and will also need to eat separate from pet siblings as she's still working through some food aggression.

Please understand that submitting an application does not guarantee an interview. We simply do not have the bandwidth. We take great care in trying to match our dogs with what we believe to be the best home for their needs. Every dog is an individual and there are many factors we take into consideration, from medical to behavioral, to environment. We are sorry that some of you will be disappointed but ultimately a dog can only be adopted to one home.
We are a Michigan based rescue, and while we are open to apps from all over the US - and have adopted to many states - adopting out-of-state is a big deal for us and you MUST travel to Michigan to pick up the dog and make the adoption final. Thank you.
