She’s a natural athlete who absolutely excels at the high jump—baby gates are merely a suggestion in Poppy’s world. 😂 Small humans are okay, but Poppy would really prefer to be the one and only love of her person’s life. Going everywhere with you is definitely on her daily agenda, and she has made it very clear that your lap is the only acceptable seat in the car. Poppy would love to be the only dog in the home. However, she might be willing to consider a male canine companion…provided he is very, very submissive and fully understands that Poppy is the queen. 👑 If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate girl who wants to be your constant companion—and who comes with Olympic-level jumping skills—Poppy might be your girl!

We take great care in trying to match our dogs with what we believe to be the best home for their needs. Every dog is an individual and there are many factors we take into consideration, from medical to behavioral, to environment. We are sorry that some of you will be disappointed but ultimately a dog can only be adopted to one home.
We are a Michigan based rescue, and while we are open to apps from all over the US - and have adopted to many states - adopting out-of-state is a big deal for us and you MUST travel to Michigan to pick up the dog and make the adoption final. Thank you.
