Ariel is a 3 year old english bulldog who found herself needing a new home due to no fault of her own. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She does have some allergy issues that we will be taking care of and also getting her to the eye doctor for some concerns with dry eye. Once we have her treatment completed, she will be ready for her forever home!
Ariel does have some resource guarding behavior and does not like when anyone is near her food or treats. She will need a home with no young children. An only dog home would be preferred, since she doesn't love to share, but a family with bulldog or resource guarding experience and a willingness to work with her will be considered.

We take great care in trying to match our dogs with what we believe to be the best home for their needs. Every dog is an individual and there are many factors we take into consideration, from medical to behavioral, to environment. We are sorry that some of you will be disappointed but ultimately a dog can only be adopted to one home.
We are a Michigan based rescue, and while we are open to apps from all over the US - and have adopted to many states - adopting out-of-state is a big deal for us and you MUST travel to Michigan to pick up the dog and make the adoption final. Thank you.
